Default File Folder for CompanyCam

Stay organized and reduce clutter by setting a default folder for your CompanyCam files. All incoming files will automatically be routed to the connected job and folder of your choice. If the folder doesn't already exist, we'll create it for you on the fly. To set this up, follow these simple instructions:
  • Navigate to your JobTread Settings.
  • Click on the Integrations tab and choose CompanyCam.
  • If you're connected, you'll see the option to set a default folder at the top of the page.

    Customize Signature Disclaimer

    Customize the text above signature boxes on your documents, allowing you to tailor the signing language exactly how you want for each document or document type.
  • Within a document, click to edit the disclaimer text above the signature box.
  • Within a document template, customize the signature disclaimer with the Signature Disclaimer field.
  • This makes the use of Documents more flexible, especially in situations where you don't have costs on the document.

    Billable Rates for Cost Plus Invoicing

    Gain more flexibility in how you charge for labor by using billable rates instead of burdened hourly rates when invoicing time. This update lets you pull rates directly from your budget. Perfect for jobs with multiple labor rates!
  • In your budget, add line items with the billable rate in the unit cost cell. The unit price will reflect the added markup for the customer price.
  • Approve the budget.
  • When invoicing, toggle Set time entries to unit cost & price under the Bills & Time section.
  • The system will apply your budget's unit cost and unit price instead of the employee's burdened rate.
  • Supports multiple line items, each with its own rate, markup, and recorded hours.
  • This feature makes it easier to invoice accurately for jobs with different rates, keeping your billing consistent with your budget.

    Gantt View Zoom Tool

    Change the time interval showing in your job and organizational Gantt schedule. These changes will also reflect in PDFs!
  • In your job or organization schedule, choose Gantt from the display type.
  • Within the Gantt view, on the top-right of the schedule, there are now two magnifying glass icons.
  • Use these to zoom out to see a longer time interval on the schedule, or to zoom in to see a shorter time interval on the schedule.
  • Now when you export as a PDF, the zoomed in or zoomed out Gantt view you created will be shown in the PDF.
  • Enhance your schedule viewing quickly and easily.

    Recurring Tasks & To-Do's

    Schedule repeating work with ease by setting tasks and to-dos to automatically recur on a custom timeline.
  • Create a task or to-do, then add a start or due date to unlock repeat settings.
  • Choose the frequency: weekly, monthly, or annually.
  • Customize recurrence by selecting days of the week, intervals, and end conditions.
  • Save your schedule or list to generate the full recurring series.
  • RSVP or edit recurring items, with the option to update one or all future items in the series.
  • Recurring tasks and to-dos help you stay consistent and never miss a beat. They are perfect for inspections, payroll, follow-ups, and more!

    Draft & Publish Job Schedules

    Gain more control over when your schedules are shared with external users. By default, job schedules are automatically published and visible as you create them. Turn off the auto-publish schedule setting to keep schedules private while building them, then publish when ready - triggering assignee notifications and setting the baseline all at once.
  • Navigate to your JobTread Settings.
  • Locate the Scheduling section.
  • Toggle off Auto-Publish Job Schedule.
  • Build schedules privately, then click the Draft button when ready to share.
  • Perfect for teams who want to finalize their plans before releasing them to customers & vendors.
