We just made Cost Types Time Trackable so you can now restrict the Items that show up when users Clock In! Select which Cost Types are available for time tracking and disable the Cost Types that should not have time tracked to them. We enabled all Cost Types by default, so be sure to update your Cost Types by going to Settings -> Job Costing &-gt; Cost Types.

We just released the first set of report charts that can be found on the Reports Dashboard. Our long-term goal is to give you the ability to generate your own report visualizations. However, in the meantime, we will continue adding additional charts and graphs that will benefit everyone.

You now have the ability to include a custom message when sending documents. Save a default email message in the document template settings for each type of document. Before sending each document, you have the option to customize the message.

The File Management update gives you endless options to organize, store, and sort files. More easily manage files using the Files tab within each job, customer, or vendor. Alternatively, you can manage files across the entire system using the Files tool in the Main Navigation. The update includes a file directory, quick view and edit drawer, file list view, mass actions (tagging, downloading, and archiving), dynamic folder nesting, and enhanced search features.

Based on feedback, we’ve added the following information to the job dashboard: Key Financial Data, Action Items, Job Status, and Location Custom Fields. We also now have a three-column view for when you’re using JobTread on a desktop or wide-screen computer so all your information is organized and easily accessible.

We just delivered another top customer request! Preview as a User is now live and will let you Preview JobTread as any other internal or external user. You can do this from Member Settings or directly from a Job or Document. Look for the small eye icon next to their name. This will allow you to preview what they see in JobTread. If you are previewing an external user, you will preview their customer or vendor portal.

Report aggregations are now visible in standard and custom table views to display the Sum, Average, Min, Max, and Count for currency, percentage, and number columns. Check out the update now by visiting the Job, Customer, or Vendor Dashboard!

Centralize job communications and loop key players into conversations with the new Targeted Messaging feature! Use the "@" symbol to mention specific users, @vendors, @customers, or any other user roles while writing a comment and those directly associated with the job, document, or task will be able to reply to the conversation thread in their portal. Better yet, they will receive an email notification when they are invited to a conversation.

Provide access to job files, photos, and videos with JobTread’s new Role-based File Sharing feature! This new feature allows you to share files with internal team members, customers, and/or vendors based on their roles. When adding files to a job, simply add the "Customer" tag to a file you would like visible to the customers and the "Vendors" tag to files you would like visible to vendors. JobTread gives you the power to further customize file sharing by assigning one or multiple file tags to any user role.

You can now track, view, manage, and report on employee hours directly in JobTread! This feature allows employees to clock in and out, select the job they are working on, and identify the budget line item to log their hours. Hours and time costs will then be displayed directly in the job budget. This creates even more accuracy in job costing and increased insight into your profitability throughout the job.
