My tie to construction is unique - but passionate. I spent years working in an asphalt lab, conducting community outreach, K-12 + adult education, and advocating for construction workers before state and federal policy makers. This instilled in me a deep love for the field and a fierce desire to empower construction workers. My further work as an educator and a researcher helps me translate complex ideas into everyday language, and gives me a deep curiosity about how to improve products and processes. My goal is for each person I meet with to leave our sessions feeling confident, capable, and in-control.Background
