Leading construction management software company JobTread has launched a suite of new AI tools built directly into its software.
They are the first in a series of AI-powered options JobTread plans to roll out over the coming months, with each new release simplifying another time-consuming task of running a construction business. The launch of the AI Budget Builder and AI Form Builder starts with some of the most common: budgeting, formula-building, and form creation.
These tools remove that first-draft burden from a contractor's workload, allowing jobs to start and progress more efficiently.
Built Inside JobTread
Unlike AI tools that require an account from an outside provider, a separate app, or a setup procedure, JobTread's AI builders live inside the software itself. With a simple command, contractors can now create a budget, formula, or form without any third party involvement.
In addition, information entered into any AI Builder stays on JobTread's servers, and it is never used to train an AI model or shared with any system outside a customer's own organization.

Meet the AI Builder Tools
AI Budget Builder. Ask the AI Budget Builder to create a budget based on a job's requirements and location, and it quickly returns a complete set of line items ready to review. It also works in reverse: point it at an existing budget, and the tool will audit the numbers and walk through suggested changes to protect profit. Users can also edit directly, for example specify a specific profit margin, and the tool will update the budget accordingly, using the same calculations a contractor would otherwise input by hand.
The AI Builder extends to formulas as well. Using a simple command will guide a contractor to the right formula instead of requiring them to assemble it field by field. The AI Budget Builder presents the available formula fields, then walks contractors through the relevant parameters.
AI Form Builder. The AI Form Builder generates virtually any form from a simple prompt, saving a contractor from building one by hand or reworking an existing template line by line. Whether the form is for internal team members, vendors, or customers, a quick command creates a draft ready to review.
The range of forms it can produce spans all areas of construction including time-off requests, new employee onboarding, RFIs, vendor performance reviews, warranty requests, client intake, closeout checklists, and much more.
