Onboarding Specialist

Full Time, On Location | Dallas, TX Base Salary + Bonus

Job Summary

As an Onboarding Specialist at JobTread, you will play a critical role in helping new customers get off to a strong start. This role serves as the first point of contact after purchase, guiding customers through the early stages of onboarding and setting them up for long-term success. You’ll coordinate with the Customer Success team, monitor account activity, and ensure customers have the tools, knowledge, and support they need to begin using JobTread effectively.

The Onboarding Specialist is a customer-facing role that requires exceptional communication, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to drive engagement and adoption from day one. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide new customers on how and where to get started using JobTread effectively
  • Monitor new account activity and proactively reach out to customers with low or limited engagement
  • Direct customers to relevant resources, including recorded trainings and knowledge base articles
  • Ensure customers are informed on how to contact support and connect with their Customer Success Manager
  • Assign customers to appropriate email campaigns based on their profile and onboarding status
  • Ensure accurate and complete customer data in Salesforce, including contact info, company website, primary industry, and specialty trades

Ideal Candidates

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, support or onboarding role (SaaS experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple onboarding activities at once
  • Comfortable using Salesforce and other productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, HubSpot)
  • Positive attitude and commitment to customer success
  • Can be flexible with after-hours work on occasion for specific customer needs
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus
