Morgan Thomas didn't exactly plan on becoming a builder. Her construction career started when a regular at the bar where she worked while attending graduate school convinced her to take a job in commercial construction. Six months later, she was running projects. Fourteen years later, she's the Co-Founder and Director of Construction at Homestead Builders Group in Healdsburg, California.
Morgan specializes in complex whole-home remodels and has a particular talent for bringing commercial-level discipline to the beautifully messy world of residential construction.
With an undergraduate background in journalism, Morgan approaches construction with the instincts of a reporter: ask better questions, do the research, and get the facts before making a decision. She's now channeling that same curiosity into helping other construction companies improve their operations, particularly around preconstruction, project management, technology, estimating, and financial systems.
Outside of work, she's chasing fresh tracks in the mountains, boating with her husband and two daughters, and maintaining her second career as a soccer mom. She's still not sure what happened to that graduate degree.

Jillian Childs wears more hats than most marketers would attempt at once and makes it look easy. She's VP of Marketing at Turntide Technologies, a UK-based electronics start-up and owner of Craft Master Custom Pools a South Florida-based pool building business that her and her husband acquired in 2025. Earlier in her career, she ran Field Marketing at Tesla during its highest-growth years, sharpening a reputation as one of the sharpest marketers in her network: someone who pairs data-driven strategy with genuine relationship-building, and who listens closely before she acts. Nearly all of it, construction, e-mobility, industrial, has been spent building her career in industries where women are still the exception in the room, not the rule.
The timing of her Craft Master acquisition tells you everything about how she operates: the same week she closed on the business, she welcomed her first daughter into the world, and spent maternity leave building out SOPs while the baby slept. Today, Jillian brings that same relentless, build-it-yourself playbook to growing Craft Master Custom Pools in one of the country's most competitive home-services markets. Having navigated male-dominated industries for most of her career, she's now one of the go-to people in her network for women looking to grow theirs.

Candice Rania didn't exactly take the straight road to construction. Her career began in architecture, moved through interior design, and eventually landed in general contracting. This somewhat unconventional route gave her a view of a project from nearly every angle, and a healthy appreciation for how quickly a good idea can become a bad one once it meets reality.
Today, Candice is the Co-Founder and Director of Pre-Construction at Homestead Builders Group, where she focuses on the work that happens before construction begins: plan development, challenging assumptions, coordinating decisions, and identifying problems that are considerably cheaper to solve on paper than in the field.
She is a builder, systems thinker, and professional question-asker with a particular interest in the space between what was intended, what was documented, and what is actually going to happen.
Outside of work, Candice is usually exploring somewhere new with her family, preferably somewhere the architecture is showing off. She believes building a successful company should leave room for a life worth stepping away from the jobsite to enjoy.

Allison Bowring is the co-owner and CEO of RippnFinish Flooring, where she focuses on growing the business, improving systems, and creating a great experience for both clients and her team. She also has a soft spot for JobTread and loves finding ways to make the day-to-day run a little smoother.
Allison and her husband, Travis, have been married for 14 years and have two daughters, ages 10 and 8. Their busy household also includes a dog, a cat, two rabbits, lizards and fish. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, being with her family, and learning about whatever happens to catch her interest.

Danielle Russell is president of Builder Funnel, a digital marketing agency that helps home builders and remodelers grow through smarter strategy and stronger marketing systems. Over the past decade, she's helped grow Builder Funnel from a small local team into a multimillion-dollar agency with more than 40 team members across North America, 96% leadership favorability rating, and three appearances on the Inc. 5000 list.
Danielle is passionate about building leaders, operationalizing culture, and creating systems that allow companies to scale without everything depending on one person. Her work lives at the intersection of people and performance: hiring the right talent, giving them the clarity and confidence to lead, and building workplaces where great people want to stay and grow.
When she's not developing leaders or designing a new framework, Danielle is probably storytelling with data, coaching a teammate, or turning Builder Funnel's next quarterly strategy into an elaborate pop culture theme.
